There are multiple ways you can honor Arijit:

1 Contribute to an endowed fund in Arijit's name at Carleton College, his undergraduate alma mater. Funds raised will be designated to support teaching, learning and scholarship in the area of environmental studies, reflecting Arijit's academic interests.

Donations should be sent to the College, with a notation that the gift is in Arijit's memory, to the address below:

2 Support Hospice of the Valley. During Arijit's final months, Hospice of the Valley provided palliative home care for Arijit and caregiver support for his family. Hospice relies on donations "to provide the 'extras' not covered by Medicare or insurance and to care for those without insurance or ability to pay."

Contribute through the National Hospice Foundataion by supporting Arijit's brother's Run to Remember team.

3 Donate to the University of Arizona Cancer Center's Patient Assistance Fund.

Money donated to the patient fund helps defray the costs of treatment for others fighting cancer with inadequate insurance coverage and goes towards the patients' treatment costs incurred at the University of Arizona Cancer Center such as doctor's fees, chemotherapy drugs, diagnostic testing and other expenses.

Checks can be made payable to the UACC Patient Assistance Fund/UMC.

Please use the Mail-In Donation form (.pdf) and return it with your gift. One the line beginning "This gift is in" check the box beside "memory" and write "Arijit Guna" in the blank space.
